As part of ongoing formation for our new teacher cohort, I devised a self and peer observation protocol to help teachers become reflective practitioners. One of the most helpful exercises I engaged in as a neophyte teacher was to watch recordings
of myself teaching, and to watch other teachers practice their craft. With guided discussed and written reflection, the hope was that we would could be honest about our approach to teaching.
