Here's my North American influenced version of a Philippine classic.


1.5 lbs of flank steak
1 medium onion
1 tbsp olive oil
juice of 2 small lemons
4 tbsp of dark soy sauce
1 tsp of maggi
1 tsp of worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste

>> prep onions and lemon
>> cut steak into 2 cm thick slices
>> marinade meat in lemon juice, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, maggi, salt and pepper
>> add onions to mixture
>> marinade in refrigerator for 24 hours for best results
>> heat skillet and add oil
>> take marinaded onions and pan fry
>> add meat to skillet
>> add marinade sauce to skillet
>> after a few minutes, remove, and serve immediately
